Sophomore Orientation – March 21, 2018 4:30pm – 7:00pm
Class of 2021 and parents, we are excited to welcome you to Mustang Country! On Wednesday, March 21, 2018 we will be hosting our annual Sophomore Orientation. Please join us for the evening to learn about the many opportunities available at Herriman High School, as well as academic expectations and college/career preparation. If possible please come early, beginning at 4:30pm, to pick up important registration material. Please plan on attending one presentation in the Auditorium as well as visiting the Main Gym to learn about the numerous opportunities available to your student. The evening schedule will include the following:
4:30-7:00pm Parents may pick up registration materials in the Main Entrance and visit information tables in the Commons Area to discuss AP classes, scholarships and college/career readiness. You may also attend information meetings regarding Special Education Services in the Library and Concurrent Enrollment meetings in the Career Center
5:00-7:00pm Herriman High School Opportunity Fair in the Main Gym
Representatives from various departments, programs, and clubs will be available in the Main Gym to spotlight their organization and answer questions.
5:00-5:45pm First “Need to Know” information session for parents and students in the Auditorium
6:00-6:45pm Second “Need to Know” information session for parents and students in the Auditorium
Counselors will be reviewing registration materials and high school information with parents and students at two information sessions during the evening. Please plan on attending one of these sessions.
As we prepare for next year, the beginning of a great high school experience, we encourage you to ask questions, get involved, and help us make Herriman High everything you hope for and more.
